Monthly Archives: February 2011

Monthly meeting of Washtenaw Libertarians is tomorrow, Tuesday March 1st at 7PM

The next meeting of the LPWC will be tomorrow, Tuesday March 1st, 7:00 PM at the Classic Cup Cafe, Classic Cup Cafe, 4389 Jackson Ave, Ann Arbor. Look for us either in the back-room or at the square tables
against the rear of the main dining room.

I’d like to introduce myself as the new Chair of the LP of Washtenaw
County. I’m a PhD student at the University of Michigan and I’ve been
an active Libertarian for a couple of years now. If you join us at our
meeting tomorrow evening, not only will we meet in person but we can
also discuss the following current events and projects on our agenda:

  • Upcoming visit by Jesse Walker from Reason Magazine hosted by the UM College Libertarians (more details to come),
  • Postcard mailers being sent out to our membership this week,
  • Our ongoing newsletter work,
  • Possible speakers for future meetings,
  • Brainstorming on outreach efforts for the group, e.g. radio spots,
public calendars, and free/cheap community ad spaces.

As usual, the first 30 minutes are typically a social meet-and-greet
time. Please join us and don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any
questions.

Cheers,

Paul Giuliano
Chair, Libertarian Party of Washtenaw County
